Yes, students will be awarded an European Cultural Academy Certificate in their chosen course upon satisfactory completion of the course. This will be presented in a graduation ceremony on the final evening of the course. N.B. ECA is a non-credit, non-degree professional program. University students will only get credits if their university has a partnership with ECA.

All the materials are provided on-site, if not stated differently on the course page. You will receive all the necessary materials for the course.

We create a WhatsApp group for all the participants. During the course we share pictures, schedule updates, and useful links via the group.

You can pay via our website or by asking us for an invoice. For the payment we do not accept bank checks, only bank transfers, credit cards and PayPal.

ECA is the receiving/host institution for your training mobility. This means that you can write and present your project application within the Erasmus+ deadline, mentioning ECA as the host institution for the teacher training. You can get in touch with us to get all the details of the courses. Once your funding is confirmed, you can proceed with registration through our online form.

Accommodation is not included in the tuition fee, however we are happy to recommend accommodation options here. There are different ways to reach Venice: shuttle bus, water bus (vaporetto) and water taxi.• Shuttle bus We recommend taking a Shuttle busfrom the airport to Piazzale Roma. The bus stop is right in front of the Arrival hall. The ticket costs 8 euros. You can buy the ticket from the conductor or at the ticket machine at the bus stop. Arrivingand Departing

The local emergency number is 118 and 112. For medical emergencies that don&#39;t require an ambulance, visit the Emergency room at Ospedale SS. Giovanne e Paolo.

Vaporetto is the fastest way to move around Venice. A 7 days ticket is 60 euros (unlimited travels).Use Bus, People Mover and Tram to get to the historical Venice from the mainland. Purchase a Venice Tourist Travel Card for a period of 12-hours up to 7-days with a maximum price of 60 euros/week; another option is the Rolling Venice Pack for people aged between 6 and 29: with discounts for many businesses, 3 days travel card and one day of wifi. <a target="_blank" rel="noopener" href="http://actv.avmspa.it/en">More information</a>

If you need to apply for a visa to attend our course we can issue an official invitation letter. In order to receive the letter, you will need to register for one of our courses with the registration fee of 350 Euros. You will need to apply for the Schengen tourist visa independently. Please contact your local consulate or visa agency to inquire about required documents. We recommend applying early to ensure sufficient time to process your visa. Please note, if your visa does not get granted, we withhold 100 Euros administration fee.

The lessons usually start at 10 am and last for about 2 hours with a 5 minute pause in between. Afternoon sessions usually start at 2pm and last for about 3 hours. On the first day of the course you will receive a goodie bag with the schedule and our recommendations on what to do, and where to go in Venice outside the class time.

Summer is very hot and humid in Venice. Please bear this in mind when choosing your wardrobe. Do not forget sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat! Autumn can be rainy and windy - bring a hat, gloves and a good raincoat.

If you are staying for more than one week, we recommend that you visit Lido, Verona or Florence during the weekend.
